         Psalm 108:1    My heart is steadfast, O God, I will sing and make music with all my soul.

             According to family, Jack S. will never amount to anything.  After all, he only has a part-time job at a local deli near Tulane Hospital, but his passion is playing music, piano in particular. 

            Many a night, after his shift, you can see Jack S., at a bar in the French quarter, playing for his soul.

            This is what one local had to say after an evening of his music:

“Jack S. played the best piano around.

Jack S. sang the best music in town.

That’s what Jack S. thank.

But frankly,

Jack S. stank.”

            Making a living is not the same as making a life.
